A friendly, dedicated team in Renfrewshire is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team for roughly 6-7 months from February 2024. This is to cover maternity leave and will ideally be on a fixed term contract basis.
They would like someone to work 4 days a week if possible, however, part-time applications with also be considered: 8:30am or 9am to 6pm (ops days start at 8:30am and consultation days at 9am).
The current shift pattern that they are looking to fill is working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday each week with 1 in 3 Saturdays, no on-call, no OOH.
Only small animals with occasional rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, or rats. Shifts can be a sole consult or can be split surgical and consultation days.
Overall, our client can be quite flexible so if you would prefer a different shift pattern, they are open to any suggestions.
Salary in the region of £30,000-£50,000 (pro rata) depending on experience.
