The Opportunity

We are working with a large, well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in Shrewsbury, that has built something refreshingly different. This is not a practice driven by targets or upselling, but one focused on delivering excellent medicine in a way that is sustainable for both pets and people.

They are looking for an established Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a broad caseload and wants to keep developing. You will be joining a team that actively encourages learning, discussion, and collaboration, without hierarchy or ego.

Your Journey Here

In your first month, you will be supported to settle in, build relationships with the wider hospital team, and get comfortable with systems and workflows. There is time and patience built into your onboarding.

By three months, you will be confidently managing your own caseload, working alongside certificate holders, and identifying areas where you would like to develop further.

By six months, you will be a fully embedded member of the hospital team, contributing to clinical discussions, potentially pursuing funded CPD or certificates, and shaping the direction of your role.

• 40-hour week across 4 days
• 6 weeks holiday, including bank holidays
