A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in Shropshire, UK, just outside Telford. This is a full-time position offering a supportive team environment, strong clinical support, and excellent opportunities for career development.
You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team that includes experienced veterinary professionals, registered veterinary nurses and dedicated support staff, all focused on delivering high standards of patient and client care.
This role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys both consulting and surgery and is looking to progress their career within a supportive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures
- Build strong relationships with clients and deliver clear treatment plans
- Work collaboratively within a supportive veterinary team
- Maintain excellent clinical and professional standards
- Contribute to a positive team culture and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS)
- Confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for providing excellent patient and client care
- Interest in further development or certificate study welcomed
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
- 40 hours per week
- 1 in 3 Saturdays
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
- £1,500 CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave
- Certificate support available
- RCVS and VDS fees paid
- Visa sponsorship and relocation support available
