The Role & Culture
This position is based in a modern, standalone facility in a popular retail park, offering plenty of parking and easy access to the town centre. You’ll be joining a stable, experienced team including the practice owner (a multi-certificate holder) and a Senior Surgeon with 20 years of experience.
- Well-Organised Days: Team catch-ups are factored into the schedule, with 20-minute consults as standard to ensure quality care.
- Wellbeing First: The practice owner is a big supporter of work-life balance; the clinic closes at 6pm several days a week.
- Future Growth: As the team expands and takes on new graduates, there is a beneficial opportunity for those interested in mentoring or becoming a Vet GDP Advisor, though this is not a mandatory requirement of the role.
The Rota & Balance
- Hours: While full-time is ideal, flexible hours can be considered to suit your lifestyle.
- Weekends: Just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
- No OOH: Enjoy your evenings and Sundays with no out-of-hours requirements.
The Package & Benefits
- Financial: Salary up to £70,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Time Off: 5.6 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service).
