An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team at a 2-site practice in Somerset. The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of general GP duties including consulting and surgery. This is a full or part-time role working a minimum of three 9.5-hour days per week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30-12:30). No out-of-hours. The practice has a range of facilities including digital X-rays, ultrasound scans, a good range of lab equipment, blood machines, operating theatres, and a dental suite. You will be joining a supportive team made up of 4 vets and 4 registered veterinary nurses, who offer a wealth of experience and run daily consults. Plus, 4 student nurses and 8 support staff. Across the team, there are certificate holders in anaesthesia and nutrition. On offer is a fantastic package including CPD allowance, paid memberships, and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
