Who We Are:
A thriving small animal primary care group in Somerset and Wiltshire, providing collaborative, progressive, and supportive veterinary services. The team includes certificate holders in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, and Feline Medicine, with further veterinarians currently studying and visiting specialists available for referral support. Out-of-hours care is managed at a dedicated 24-hour small animal hospital. Facilities include consulting rooms, modern operating theatres, isolation units, onsite laboratory, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery, and ISFM-accredited cat-friendly clinics.
The Role:
Full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon position. Clinicians will work within a collaborative team and contribute to the out-of-hours veterinary rota on a pro-rata basis, with access to advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities.
Candidate Requirements:
RCVS-registered, VetGDP completed. Confident in routine consults, surgeries, and teamwork. Support provided for developing areas. Excellent communication and commitment to clinical standards required.
Location:
Somerset, close to Bath, Bristol, the Cotswolds, and Salisbury. Direct train links to London and the south coast.
