Are you a Vet who treats every patient like your own? JR Veterinary is proud to represent a well-established, bustling practice in the charming town of Street that is looking for a personable Surgeon to join their close-knit family.
This is a practice where "settled" is an understatement—most of the team has been here for over five years, creating a supportive, high-trust environment where you can truly thrive.
The Practice:
Forget dark, cramped clinics. This practice is situated on a bright, spacious mezzanine with plenty of natural light and a great outlook.
- The Tech: Equipped to a very high standard with 3 consult rooms, a dedicated theatre, and separate cat/dog isolation wards.
- The Team: You’ll work alongside a highly experienced veterinary team, supported by 3 RVNs, a VCA, and a brilliant front-of-house team.
- The Support: With a clear diary structure, frequent team catch-ups, and a dedicated clinical discussion group, you’re never practicing in a vacuum.
The Role & You:
We are looking for an experienced GP Vet who is as comfortable with people as they are with pets.
- The Caseload: Enjoy a varied mix of small animal medicine and surgery.
- Independence: You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills during one day of sole charge per week and during your weekend rotation.
- The Rota: Full-time is preferred, but we are more than happy to discuss part-time hours for the right person.
- Weekends: A manageable 1 in 4 rotation with no OOH requirements.
