With some team members having been with the practice for over 20 years, this is a rare opportunity to join a supportive environment where staff retention and high-quality, patient-centred care are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role: Clinical Freedom & Support
The practice believes in providing the standard of care they would want for their own pets. You will have the clinical freedom to work up your cases thoroughly, backed by a skilled nursing team and a suite of modern equipment.
- The Kit: Well-equipped with endoscopy, ultrasound, dental radiography, and capnography.
- Your Interests: The practice is very happy to support individual areas of clinical interest, including funding and support for Certificates.
- Flexibility: They understand that the "perfect" job looks different for everyone. While the standard role is full-time, they are open to discussing part-time hours or consulting-only positions to suit your lifestyle.
The Rota & Balance
- Hours: Typically 4 days per week.
- Weekends: Just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am – 12:30pm).
- Work-Life Balance: Absolutely no OOH, giving you plenty of time to enjoy life in the city or surrounding areas.
The Package
- Salary: Starting from £35,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).
- Support: RCVS and VDS fees fully paid.
- Future: Nest pension scheme.
- Time Off: 20 days holiday plus all UK Bank Holidays.
- Commuting: Free on-street parking available near the surgery.
