Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a warm, friendly, and supportive team in Greater London? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-equipped small animal practice offering flexible part-time hours, strong clinical support, and a loyal client base.
This role is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon looking to work every Saturday (9am–6pm), with the option to add 1–2 additional days per week if desired.
The Role
You’ll join a supportive and stable team in a busy first-opinion practice with a great variety of cases. The role includes a mix of consultations and routine surgery, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues while maintaining clinical autonomy.
- Saturday role: 9am–6pm
- Option to add 1–2 additional weekday shifts
- Mixture of consultations and routine surgical procedures
- Some occasional sole charge
- Work alongside an experienced and collaborative clinical team
The Team
You’ll be joining a welcoming and well-established team consisting of:
- 3 Veterinary Surgeons
- 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses
- 1 Student Veterinary Nurse
- 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
- 5 Receptionists
The nursing team is highly experienced and actively involved in patient care, including performing Schedule 3 procedures.
Facilities
The practice is purpose-built and well equipped with modern facilities including:
- Digital X-ray
- Ultrasound
- In-house laboratory
- Separate dog, cat and exotic wards
- Modern surgical and consultation facilities
About You
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with first-opinion practice and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
You will ideally:
- Be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon
- Be comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries
- Be confident with occasional sole charge
- Enjoy delivering excellent patient and client care
- Be a team player with a proactive attitude
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £70,000 FTE (depending on experience and hours worked)
- 4 weeks holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service
