What You’ll Do
- Deliver first‑opinion consultations, using protected 15‑minute appointments and supported administrative time.
- Perform routine surgical procedures, with the option to develop advanced skills based on your clinical interests.
- Utilise modern diagnostic tools including ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental imaging to support thorough case work‑ups.
- Work a rota of early shifts (finishing before 4pm), late shifts, and 1 in 8 weekend rotations, with time off in lieu.
- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and patient safety in line with RCVS guidelines.
- Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team including certificate‑holding clinicians in medicine, surgery, and ophthalmology.
- Participate in daily inpatient rounds, clinical discussions, and shared decision‑making to support continuity of care.
