An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic in South Yorkshire. This is a great role for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their clinical skills within a high-level hospital environment, with exposure to both first-opinion and advanced cases.
The Practice
This long-standing hospital has been established for over 20 years and is recognised by the RCVS as an Outstanding Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic. The practice delivers 24/7 care to the local community and manages cases from start to finish under one roof.
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities, including:
CT scanner
Rigid and flexible endoscopy
Ultrasound
Advanced surgical and medical equipment
Clinical services include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, emergency and critical care, alongside a busy first-opinion caseload.
You will be joining a large, experienced clinical team, including 15 Veterinary Surgeons (with a dedicated OOH team), supported by a strong nursing and non-clinical team.

This opportunity is open to Veterinary Surgeons at all stages of their career. Whether you are an experienced vet looking to work towards a certificate or a recent graduate seeking structured development in a hospital setting, applications are welcomed.
The role can be tailored to suit your experience and interests, with involvement in:
Routine medical and surgical cases
Emergency and hospital work
Advanced procedures, depending on experience and development goals
Candidate Requirements
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
Confident with routine medical and surgical cases
Interest in working up cases to a high clinical standard
Enjoys working as part of a large, collaborative hospital team
Working Hours
