Exciting Opportunity for Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon in the UK

Commencing Salary - £68,000+

Our client is currently in search of a skilled Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to contribute to the ongoing success of a reputable first opinion 4 Vet Practice located in the charming market town of Tamworth, nestled in the Midlands, just 15 miles from Birmingham, ensuring a convenient commute for all.

As the current Clinical Leads' plan to spend more time in South Africa, a unique opportunity has emerged for a Clinical Lead Veterinarian who can seamlessly continue the practice, preserving clinical autonomy while fostering its growth. The role entails taking a natural leadership position with the backing of our Practice Manager, mentoring newly qualified Vets, facilitating their growth in confidence and skill, and upholding the high standard of care our client is immensely proud of. This role has the potential to evolve into a partnership opportunity.

As the Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will collaborate closely with our client and their Practice Manager, benefiting from their extensive experience, while working alongside our exceptional support team. The role affords you the autonomy to introduce innovative ideas, and among your responsibilities, you will provide support to junior Vets.

Our purpose-built practice, maintained at a high standard. Air-conditioned consult rooms, a spacious theatre room, and up-to-date equipment, including Ultrasound and digital X-ray, contribute to a conducive working environment. The position offers flexibility with a choice between a 4 or 5 day per week schedule. Working 40 hours weekly as a full-time Vet, you will be required to cover a 1:3 weekend rotation on Saturdays only, with no Out of Hours duty, as these are outsourced to a 24-hour hospital.
