My client is looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their thriving small animal practice at an incredibly exciting time. With a full refurbishment and rebrand on the horizon, this is a fantastic opportunity for a confident clinician to step into a role offering real autonomy, genuine influence, and long-term potential.
This position is ideal for a vet who enjoys leading from the front clinically, while being supported with the wider operational aspects by an experienced Practice Manager and dedicated owners. You’ll have the freedom to shape clinical standards, mentor colleagues, and play a key role in the future direction of the practice.
The practice itself is modern, spacious, and fully equipped with high-end facilities. You’ll be joining a stable and experienced team, including multiple vets, RVNs and long-standing support staff - some of whom have been with the practice for over 20 years. It’s a collaborative, supportive environment where clinical excellence and patient care are genuinely prioritised.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon
- Have confidence managing more complex medical and surgical cases
- Enjoy mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
- Be comfortable sharing ideas and contributing to practice development
- Ideally have previous leadership experience (or be ready to step into a lead role)
The role offers a great work-life balance, working 4 days per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays, and no Sundays or OOH requirements.
