This reputable practice in Staffordshire has two small practices that have been established for over three decades, and they are looking for a Vet Surgeon to join their team.
The day to day role would consist of 1 day of surgery, 1 day of consultations, and 2 days of a mixture of both. This is flexible to match preference if you have a surgical or consultation bias.
The ideal candidate for this role would be a surgeon who feels comfortable with all primary care duties, but they may be able to support a surgeon with more advanced procedures if they are comfortable with all routine primary care duties. They actively encourage investing in their associates and professional development.
The practices are located both near the countryside and the city, making them in an ideal location. They are both light, and spacious, and have recently been renovated. One branch has two theatres, which are linked by glass, and they have all the necessary equipment such as digital X-ray, in-house blood machines, ultrasound, and dental radiography.
There is a dedicated team of 6 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, a dedicated nurse, and front of house team.
While they primarily care for small animals, they are happy to provide first aid to wildlife and have worked with local aquatic and reptile shops, taking care of odd and interesting creatures like owls, hedgehogs, snakes, and even a baby dragon!
