An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our newly-refurbished practice near Knypersley, nestled on the Staffordshire / Cheshire border.
Our practice is in a great location by Biddulph has easy access to the M6 and the Peak District. The delightful Biddulph Grange Country Park is nearby, as is 18th century Mow Cop and the Cheshire Gritstone Trail.
You will be working in our long-established team lead by a highly motivated Branch Partner, who's a highly dedicated veterinary surgeon with a keen interest in dentistry and orthopaedics. We are looking for a confident and driven veterinary surgeon to work alongside the branch partner.
The practice caseload includes reptiles and exotic pets so this position could suit someone with an interest in treating those species. Equally if you hold other interests we would like to help you develop them. Support would be given to any candidate who wished to progress or complete a certificate. We are well equipped with iM3 dental digital radiography, Firefly video otoscopy, ultrasound and digital radiography.
The full-time hours would be 39 per week, consisting of 4 weekdays and 1-in-3 Saturday mornings at the practice. Part-time hours will be considered as well as new graduates.
We can offer Certificate of Sponsorship, Tier 2 (general visa) and a relocation package for both the UK and overseas.
Salary & benefits:
- Up to £65,000
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
- CPD allowance £1,500 and 3 days CPD leave
