Who They Are
This is a long‑established, RCVS‑accredited small animal practice based across two sites in Staffordshire, serving the local community for more than 30 years. Both practices operate from recently renovated, spacious premises equipped to deliver modern first‑opinion care.
Facilities include two linked theatres, digital radiography, in‑house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, a vista scanner, and dental radiography. Both locations hold cat‑friendly accreditation, along with additional welfare and environmental awards, and operate under strong clinical governance with a focus on patient comfort and continuity of care.
The practice is situated in charming market towns with easy access to Birmingham, wider Midlands transport links, and surrounding countryside.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver first‑opinion consultations, routine surgeries, and medical work‑ups across a varied caseload.
- Work a 40‑hour week over 4 days, with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota and no out‑of‑hours work.
- Enjoy a balanced working pattern typically including one dedicated surgery day, one consulting day, and two mixed days—adjustable to individual clinical interests.
- Support continuity of care by managing follow‑ups, diagnostics, and tailored treatment planning.
- Communicate clearly with clients to support informed decision‑making and overall patient wellbeing.
- Collaborate with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and client‑care teams within a friendly, closely‑knit practice.
- Participate in shared clinical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
