Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding first-opinion role where clinical variety and career development go hand in hand? We are recruiting for a highly respected practice with a 30-year history of serving the local community across two light, spacious, and recently renovated sites in Staffordshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team of five Vets where your individual interests are not just welcomed, but actively supported.
The Rota: Balance & Consistency
The practice understands that work-life balance is essential for clinical excellence. They offer a structured week with a predictable schedule:
- The Week: 40 hours over 4 days.
- Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only.
- No OOH: Protecting your evenings and nights.
- The Mix: A typical week includes 1 day of surgery, 1 day of consults, and 2 mixed days (this can be adapted to suit your surgical or medical preferences).
The Practice: Modern & Accredited
Both sites are well-equipped to allow you to work up cases thoroughly in-house.
- The Kit: Two theatres, digital X-ray, vista scanner, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and dental radiography.
- Standards: Proud holders of Cat-Friendly Silver, Silver RWAF, and Dog-Friendly status, along with Green Investors in the Environment (iiE) accreditation.
- The Team: Support from a dedicated nursing squad trained in Schedule 3 procedures and a friendly front-of-house team.

About You
You are an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in general practice. You should be comfortable with routine primary care and eager to maintain high standards of patient care and case continuity.
