The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon to take on a varied position combining consulting, surgery, and occasional sole charge. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment while also having the autonomy to manage cases independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Perform routine and elective surgical procedures
- Manage cases independently during sole charge shifts
- Deliver high standards of patient and client care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff
- Carry out house calls using a company-provided vehicle
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in small animal practice
- Confident working in sole charge
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent English communication skills
- Full driving licence
- EU work eligibility or willingness to relocate
Salary & Benefits
- €2,250 – €3,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Full-time role (40–45 hours per week, rota-based)
- Emergency and Sunday shifts on a shared rota
- Company vehicle provided for house calls
