About us
The role
Do you love being part of a team?
We are looking for an assistant vet to work alongside our branch partner and team of 1 head nurse, 1 RVN, 2 experienced SVN's and 1 Receptionist.
There will also be a new graduate vet starting in the new year.
The ideal candidate will be at least 1-2 years qualified, however newer graduates will be considered. We would be happy to support a certificate towards further education if desired.
Our 24 hospital is close by which is an extension onto the services we can offer at Oakengates, including CT, hospitalisation, laparoscopic spays, endoscope and hydrotherapy.
The role is for a 4 day week. We can accommodate a 4 day weekend on a rotating basis. 1 in 3 Saturdays with 2nd on call and bank holidays for our hospital again on a fair rotation.
The branch is continuously growing and hoping to relocate in the future to continue to expand and develop its services and client journey.
Salary & benefits:
Salary package up to £60,000 dependent on experience
CPD allowance £1,500 and 3 days CPD leave
