A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well‑equipped independent practice providing 24‑hour emergency and critical care. This is a dedicated night role covering Monday to Thursday, offering a stable rota pattern and long weekends off.
The practice provides full emergency cover for dogs, cats and small mammals, with a strong reputation locally for ECC and urgent care. You will be supported by experienced nurses and auxiliary staff, with access to modern facilities designed to handle a wide range of emergency presentations.
The Role
This is a night‑only position working Monday to Thursday, 20:00–08:00. You will manage emergency admissions, critical care patients, urgent surgeries and overnight hospitalised cases. The caseload is varied and fast‑paced, requiring a vet confident in ECC decision‑making and independent overnight work.
The practice offers a comprehensive emergency service with continuous monitoring and treatment, ensuring patients receive high‑quality care throughout the night.
