Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours across 4 days
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive veterinary group in a unique Area Vet role, supporting a small cluster of well-established practices in West Sussex.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet who enjoys variety, thrives on building client relationships, and is confident working across different teams and environments.
The Role
- Work across multiple practices, providing high-quality veterinary care and clinical leadership.
- Fixed, pre-planned rota for work-life balance and case continuity.
- Varied caseload, with the chance to develop interests in medicine, surgery, or other areas.
- Collaborate with experienced branch Vets, certificate holders, and skilled nursing teams.
- Some sole charge work required.
- Full, clean UK driving licence essential.
About You
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least 5 years’ UK small animal experience.
- Confident in all aspects of general practice, including consultations and routine surgery.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about clinical excellence and gold-standard care.
