I am working with a lovely independent practice who is looking for a Vet Surgeon to join their team. They are looking for a Vet who has 2.5 years+ experience and is happy to join their OOH rota. Your week will look as follows: 4 day working week (happy to negotiate on day off if needed) 1 in 3 weekends - One Saturday 8am - 8pm with a Sunday off then every 1 in 6 weekends you will work a full weekend, whereby you will consult on the Saturday for 4 hours and then work the rest of the Saturday and Sunday, you will then have the Monday off. 1 night on call per week, in practice. The in-house out-of-hours service offers valuable exposure to emergency and complex cases, helping you broaden your clinical experience and further develop your surgical and decision-making skills – opportunities often missed in practices that outsource OOH care.
