About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a busy, dedicated small animal orthopaedic referral team. The successful candidate will work alongside an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, a residency-trained surgeon, an Advanced Practitioner, and an Orthopaedic Intern.
Applicants must hold an RCVS-recognised veterinary qualification allowing practice within the UK, and ideally be an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) or have achieved RCVS/ECVS/ACVS diploma examinations.
This role is best suited to someone with enthusiasm, motivation, and a genuine passion for orthopaedic surgery. Excellent communication skills with both referring vets and clients are essential.
You will share equally in the out-of-hours rota, which is not onerous, and there is no requirement to operate out-of-hours.

The practice operates from a newly refurbished building in a beautiful rural setting near Horsham, equipped with:
Three fully equipped operating theatres
On-site CT scanner
Capability to perform the full range of orthopaedic procedures including THR, TPLO, CUE, and arthroscopy
