JR is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon who is looking for a rewarding leadership role within a well-established and supportive veterinary practice. This role includes a combination of advanced clinical work, team mentorship, and the potential for partnership in the practice.
Situated in a suburban town in West Yorkshire, this practice offers a great community environment and is conveniently located near a major city, perfect for those enjoy shopping, cultural sightseeing, restaurants and socialising.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Mentor junior vets and contribute to the growth and success of the practice, including the financial and operational aspects.
- Confident in all routine surgeries and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, including cruciate surgery.
- Bring new ideas and a proactive approach to continue growing the practice, ensuring high standards and evidence-based medicine.

- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week with 1:3 Saturdays (9am – 4pm).
This role offers salary up to £70,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
