JR has an exciting opportunity for an experienced out-of-hours Vet to join our client’s night team. You will be working alongside a team of supportive, dedicated and caring professionals including a Vet, RVN and a Patient Care Assistant on site all night. This is a high standard primary care and mid-tier referral hospital with five satellite clinics, focused on clinical quality and continuous improvement. Facilities include a full suite including X ray, multiple ultrasound scanners, onsite CT and visiting MRI. There are 4 theatres with a dedicated surgical nursing team and certificate led service, a dental suite equipped with X ray, Endoscopy, rigid/flexible including laparoscopy, as well as inpatient facilities including separate cat/dog/exotic and day/long stay wards, an ICU and onsite lab with a dedicated technician for Haem/Biochem/coags/EPOC, there is also 7 consulting rooms and separate dog and cat waiting areas. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include caring for in-patients and handling overnight emergencies.
This is a Permanent Full-Time role, 7-nights on and 14 nights off. Working hours are 7pm – 8.30am.
