A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced OOH ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join a family‑run, 24/7 RCVS‑accredited hospital. This role offers a highly attractive rota of 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off, with a salary of £55,000–£60,000 depending on experience.
You will be joining a large, supportive clinical team with excellent facilities and a varied caseload, providing OOH and referral support to multiple surrounding practices. The hospital is modern, purpose‑built and equipped to a high standard, enabling you to deliver advanced emergency and critical care.
The Role
This is a dedicated night position working 7 consecutive nights followed by 14 nights off. Shifts run 8pm–8am. You will work alongside a structured night team including an RVN, VCA support and receptionist cover until late, with twilight nursing support until midnight.
The caseload is diverse, including emergency surgeries, complex medical cases and advanced ECC procedures.
Experience in ECC is essential, and you will be supported by certificate holders across surgery, medicine, dentistry and endosurgery.
The hospital encourages clinical development, with a generous CPD allowance and support for certificates. There is also flexibility to locum elsewhere during your off‑rota weeks if desired.
