The Role
A fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive team in a role offering flexibility and genuine work-life balance. With varied caseloads and strong peer support, this role allows you to focus on high-quality patient care while developing your clinical skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing consultations, surgeries, and medical workups in a first-opinion setting
Building client relationships with continuity of care
Collaborating with colleagues through case discussions and regular team meetings
Contributing to a supportive team culture with scope to shape your site’s future
What’s Needed
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence in routine consultations and surgeries
A proactive, collaborative approach to patient and client care
Hours & Rota
Part-time or full-time options available (30–40 hours per week)
Typical weekday hours: 8:45am–6:45pm
No weekend rota
The Team & Facilities
Multi-site practice with collaborative and supportive colleagues
Regular team meetings and case discussions to promote shared learning
Access to a wider referral network for advanced cases in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cardiology, internal medicine, and imaging
