Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Wakefield, West Yorkshire
My client is seeking a permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team, this position is ideal for an experienced Vet ready to advance in their career. This role requires the ability to independently manage and follow through cases, work solo, and excel as a Surgeon. Essential skills include training and mentoring, effective communication within a diverse team, and fostering a positive work culture. Enrolment in the VetGDP Programme is preferred, with support provided to mentor a new graduate Vet next year.
The role involves a blend of consulting, case workup, and surgery, with opportunities for team development through training and accessible support. Our well-equipped practice includes digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental machines, tonopen, and biochemistry and haematology machines. Additional equipment discussions are welcomed to expand services/skills. Full overnight support is available for critical cases.
This is a full-time position with 1:4 weekends however, part-time applicants also welcome.
