We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for animal welfare and a desire to provide the highest quality of care to our clients. The vast majority of your day will be in the operating room, with a small number of consults in the afternoon. The successful candidate should be confident in their ability to diagnose and treat a variety of small animal cases, as well as having a surgical bias. You should be confident in dealing with routine surgical procedures, as well as having the ability to work with a range of medical conditions. You should also be comfortable with sole charge but will also relish being part of a team.
You should be RCVS registered and have small animal experience gained as a general practitioner. A surgery certificate and interest in orthopaedics would be advantageous.
