The Role
My client is looking for a new Senior Veterinary Surgeon/Clinical Director to help forge a new path into their modern veterinary practice, leading their clinical team and embracing 21st century veterinary medicine.
Not only do they need someone who is comfortable with consulting, sole charge and general surgery, but they want someone with vision and ideas, who will join their tight knit team and help them to achieve a gold standard in animal care.
They offer 9-7 workdays, no OOH and no Sundays.
They can offer a fantastic location to work, situated in a popular retail park with free parking and both a supermarket and a 24 hour gym next door, based in a beautiful historic city surrounded by stunning countryside. The New Forest is on their doorstep, London is just over an hour away by train and the coast is a 30 minute drive south.
The salary will be around £75,000 depending on experience and there is the opportunity for practice ownership.

They are a busy small animal practice that operates with the benefit of a brand support office. They have a freshly refurbished practice with all the mod cons. They have an exceptional reputation, and staff that have been there since they opened 16 years ago. They’ve never needed to advertise for clients and value their loyal, long standing client base with whom they’ve cultivated wonderful relationships. They offer surgical procedures, dental, digital x-ray, ultrasound, with some in house lab testing facilities.
About You
You will have been qualified for a minimum of 5 years and have UK experience, be fluent in English if it isn’t your first language and be driven, efficient, thorough and enjoy the company of colleagues that strive for excellence.
