Job Role: As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical team in the absence of the principal vet. Your role involves handling a variety of surgical cases and providing mentorship to the veterinary team. Enjoy the freedom to define your position within the clinic, with opportunities to explore special interests.
Requirements:
- Quality of experience is prioritized over quantity, with several years of practice experience expected.
- Further qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in both medical and surgical aspects of veterinary care.
- Demonstrated experience in client care with strong communication skills.
- Ability to coach and support colleagues within the veterinary team.
- Aspire to attain a surgical certificate at the earliest opportunity.
Details:
- Four-day workweek (9 am to 6:30 pm) with one in four Saturdays (9 am to 12 pm).
- Additional one in four rota for hospitalised patient care.
- Emergency work covered.
