The Role
White House Vets, Malvern have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Vet to join their practice as a Clinical Director. No two days are the same here at our busy surgery and you will see a varied caseload! Your duties will consist of a mixture of surgery and consulting, and you will have time allocated for Clinical Director duties.
Working with the Practice Director your focus will be the Clinical side of the practice, growing the Vet team, mentoring younger vets and working in a collaborative way to drive the practice forward. This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead the direction of the clinic with the support of an experienced Practice Director.

We care a lot about our staff’s wellbeing and offer a variety of flexible shifts, full time is 4 days per week with 1:3 Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm with VetsNow covering all OOH. You will be given a dedicated ½ day within the week to focus on the administrative duties of being a Clinical Director however this is flexible as your skills and experience will be best placed in the clinic itself.
The salary for this role is up to £75,000 depending on experience +benefits including a £5,000 welcome bonus, £5,000 relocation allowance and Private Medical Insurance.
About Us
We are a first opinion, small animal practice with a genuine focus on quality care for our patients. We are located within the Malvern Hills, which is a beautiful place to live with excellent schools nearby and close links to the M5/M50. We have a loyal client base and offer a very popular bespoke pet health plan. Our practice is equipped with all the usual toys including X-rays, Ultrasound imaging, laser therapy and an on-site lab. We are a Veterinary Nurse training practice and we have recently gained our RCVS accreditation.
About the Team and Culture
Our team pride itself on being kind, caring and empathetic to all our patients. Currently, we have two senior Vets and a second-year graduate Vet, two Registered Veterinary Nurses, an Animal Nursing Assistant, two receptionists and a practice director. We have a mental health first aider and an amazing Well-being champion who looks after us very well and organises practice nights out.
Our practice closely supports our local RSPCA, and we participate in fundraising events for other local charities.
Applicant Requirements
You must be an existing clinical director or an experienced vet who wishes to take the next step into this role where you will be supported to reach your full potential. We are looking for someone confident with routine procedures and consultations with an enthusiasm for Surgery.
Ideally, you will enjoy building relationships, be compassionate and aim for high clinical standards.
