The new, hand-held, battery powered, infusion fluid droplet counter and alarm, DRIPASSIST, first demonstrated at the BSAVA Congress, is now available for sale to vets in the UK from J.A.K Marketing Limited.

Developed in the USA and singled out as one of the key new products at this year’s N.A.V.C Congress, the DRIPASSIST allows practices to quickly set up a device to monitor fluid flow rates, total amount of fluid infused and alarm should the flow significantly change or when the bag contents are emptied. Fluid to be infused can be monitored by a device which is set up in a matter of moments, say J.A.K Marketing.

“The DRIPASSIST will fit UK standard giving set drip chambers and will prove to be easy and accurate in use”, says Kevin Ingram of J.A.K Marketing. “Many practices use infusion pumps, but these require periodic maintenance and calibrating. For use in the operating theatre and recovery kennels, the DRIPASSIST will represent a very practical alternative”.

DripAssist is available from the usual veterinary wholesalers or from J.A.K Marketing direct at £175.00 plus VAT.
