UK veterinary pharmaceutical company Animalcare has announced the appointment of its new UK Sales Manager, David Selway.

David joins Animalcare bringing with him vast experience in sales and marketing gleaned from his work with major pharmaceutical companies as well as hands on experience in working with animals from his previous roles in animal health.

As Sales Manager, David will be managing a team of eight Territory Managers, and his main focus will be on resource management and talent development within the organisation as well as supporting customer growth. From customer experience right through to sharpening the commercial team’s business acumen, David will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth strategy.

David says:

‘I am delighted to have joined Animalcare, a company which has been built on strong foundations with a legacy of high-quality products and a talented team. I believe that the next five years will see rapid evolution and growth and I am very much looking forward to being part of the next stage of its journey.’

David joins two other new starters at the company, Ben Higgins who is the Territory Sales Manager for South Wales and the South-West, and Laura Bell who takes up the role of Senior Territory Sales Manager covering Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northumberland, Tyneside and Cumbria.

Rachel Smithson, General Manager at Animalcare comments:

‘We are delighted to welcome David, Ben and Laura to the Animalcare team. All three of them bring skills and experience which will prove invaluable to us. We are confident that they will be an integral part of the Animalcare team as we continue to grow and progress.’
