SPVS and VPMA are running a one day workshop with James Cronin from Eight Legal in Edinburgh on Wednesday 14 September which will show you how to manage staff effectively and legally to create a high performing practice team.
James is a lawyer who has helped deliver change within large and small organisations. He will use this to show you how to identify and deal with problem staff fairly and legally; remove ineffective or difficult staff with minimum impact on the rest of the team; distinguish between sickness and disability and manage them accordingly; manage older members of staff who do not wish to retire; and recruit effectively and efficiently.
The course will benefit any practice owner or manager wishing to create ‘elite teams’ within their practice. The course costs £190+VAT for SPVS and VPMA members, or £265+VAT for non-members. CPD certificates, lunch and refreshments will be included.
