Bath Cats And Dogs Home - Its Not Just Cats And Dogs
On 31st May 2009 11am- 4pm Bath Cats and Dogs Home is holding a 'Small Animals Day' to raise awareness about the small animals living at the home. Entry is by donation with free parking off Claverton Down Road. This event is aimed to promote the rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, mice, gerbils and battery chickens that need re-homing. The Small Animals Day will include: Rabbit and guinea pig cuddling, Ferret racing (with Bristol Ferret Club), refreshments, various stalls including Hamster rescue and face painting. Since the small animals will be out “meeting and greeting”, it is requested that people do not bring dogs to this event. This event will be great fun for all the family and will be providing information and advice on having small animals as pets. Bath Cats and Dogs Home is currently looking for loving homes for many child-friendly pets and the animal carers will explain which particular animals will be best suited to which age group.
