Hill’s Pet Nutrition is pleased to announce that it has renewed its support for the British Veterinary Dental Association, signing a new three year sponsorship agreement. The agreement was reached following a highly successful previous three year sponsorship and was signed by Tim Dobbins, Hill’s Associate Veterinary Affairs Manager and BVDA President, Simone Kirby Dipl EVDC MRCVS.
For many years, the BVDA has delivered teaching programmes and seminars that help veterinary surgeons, undergraduates and veterinary nurses improve their skills in veterinary dentistry. The support received from Hill’s underpins that programme of events and has been instrumental in helping the BVDA to raise standards within the veterinary community.
“The BVDA is a very progressive veterinary association and this is a great opportunity for us to continue our commitment to CPD within the profession and to promote the health and wellbeing of cats and dogs, said Tim Dobbins, confirming that the sponsorship agreement was valued very highly within Hill’s. “There is no doubt in our minds that the BVDA makes a significant contribution in both areas.”
The association’s next CPD event is the BVDA precongress symposium , which takes place on Wednesday, 11th April in Austen Court, at the ICC, Birmingham. The agenda includes small pet oral radiography and treatment of oral neoplasia, including a keynote presentation by Jerome Benoit DACVRRO, DECVDI.
