New larger Alnorthumbria Vets Ponteland premises
CVS’ Alnorthumbria Vets Moves To New Larger Practice Within Dobbies Ponteland
£1m site will offer more appointments and services to give the best care to local pets
CVS’ Alnorthumbria Vets in Ponteland has moved into a new larger practice within Dobbies at Street House Farm, just under two miles away.
The practice now occupies a new 3,313 square foot building which is double the size of its old Meadowfield Industrial Estate surgery.
CVS has invested over £1 million to relocate and upgrade the new practice. The spacious new surgery houses the latest veterinary facilities and equipment, including four consulting rooms, a cutting-edge operating theatre, an in-house laboratory, dental suite, and digital x-ray facilities. To keep stress to a minimum for patients, the practice also has a spacious reception area with separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, and separate dog and cat hospital wards.
The new larger site will enable Alnorthumbria Vets to increase the number of clients it serves and expand the range of clinical services it offers to pets in the locality. Its new location means clients will also be able to enjoy Dobbies’ dog-friendly facilities. The store welcomes pets, has a pet department featuring pet food, toys and accessories, and a dedicated dog-friendly area in the restaurant.
Amy Cotter, Senior Clinical Director at Alnorthumbria Vets, said: “Our new practice in Ponteland Dobbies is a much better site with a superb range of facilities. It means our colleagues will be able to provide the best clinical care for our patients and that we’ll be able to treat more animals.”
The previous Alnorthumbria Vets Practice was based on Meadowfield Industrial Estate, in North West Ponteland. The new site will work closely and complement the range of services already offered by Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group branches in Alnwick, Amble, Morpeth, Rothbury and Wooler.
