‘Saving lives: Emergency Nursing – Triage and beyond,’ a CPD roadshow aimed at veterinary nurses, will visit eight venues across the UK during the second half of 2013. Speakers are Paul Aldridge MRCVS and Louise O’Dwyer RVN, who aim to help veterinary nurses update their knowledge and skills in this challenging area. It is being organised in association with CPD provider Improve International.
Sessions at each venue will run from 2.00-8.00 pm and will assist delegates in areas including:- Understanding shock and why it’s a killer
- Saving lives through performing efficient and prompt triage
- Stabilising dyspnoeic patients
David Babington MRCVS, Managing Director of Improve International, explained: “The success of Paul and Louise’s recent book, ‘Practical Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nursing’ confirms that many veterinary nurses are keen to learn more about this important area. They have a vital role to play in the management of emergency patients and it’s clear that many of them are keen to do just that.
We’re delighted to bring Paul and Louise’s roadshow to eight venues across the UK to ensure that as many nurses as possible have the opportunity to attend.”
The cost per delegate is £99.00 plus VAT, including refreshments and a light supper. Early booking is advised as space at each venue is limited. Full details of venue information and dates are available at www.improvecpd.comMore from
