Docsinnovent logo As well as veterinarians and technicians, Docsinnovent received prominent distribution offers for the USA and the world with emerging markets featuring very highly amongst these. The demand for new innovations in veterinary medicine were met by v-gel and the word spread very rapidly across the two exhibition sites about a new radical safer innovation for anaesthesia. Since Docsinnovent launched itself to the market with v-gel 8 months ago it has featured in numerous lectures around the globe and at NAVC it too featured in a master class session, delivered by Jody Nugent-Deal of UC Davies, California USA. Upon hearing that we were present at the congress Dr Ivan Crotaz of Docsinnovent was invited to give a brief talk about v-gel and with the aid of our anatomically correct mannequins, attendees were able to try the v-gel for themselves to see just how simply and easily an airway can be obtained for rabbits. It did not stop there; Professor Joerg Mayer of the University of Georgia, USA, also presented the benefits of v-gel in his lecture at NAVC called: La La Land for Rabbits; Anaesthesia and Analgesia, on Saturday January 19th 2013 at 9.55 a.m. Professor Mayer is now scheduled to integrate v-gel in to his lecture at the American Medical Veterinary Association (AMVA) meeting in Denver, Colorado 2014. In addition, other continuous education providers from South America, Europe and the USA snapped up the opportunity to start teaching about v-gel use for cats and rabbits and were hot on our heels requesting the canine be delivered soon. Docsinnovent now has four USA veterinary universities using v-gels in such a short time, no doubt more will keep coming. Dr Muhammad Nasir, Managing Director, Docsinnovent Ltd. had this to say; “We can see from customers’ reactions that v-gel is set to change the face of veterinary airway management. Once again we were overwhelmed by the energetic and enthusiastic welcome that we received in the US market. The NAVC was a wonderful meeting.”
