What are you waiting for? Super early bird tickets are on sale now for the legendary equine event that is BEVA Congress (13-16 September 2023 at the ICC Birmingham) – the one-stop shop for outstanding CPD, the ultimate in networking and unparalleled schmoosing and socials.

“In this time-poor, cash-strapped time, BEVA Congress ticks all the boxes for four affordable days of education and fun,” said BEVA President David Rendle.

“Our scientific programme of CPD covers just about every aspect of equine medicine, surgery and practice. In the exhibitor hall you can meet face-to-face the major players in the equine veterinary industry and find out about new products and innovations as they hit the market.

“You can network across the industry, which can create both business and career opportunities… and you get to wine, dine and dance with friends, past, present and future. You can bag a super early bird ticket now and save more than £100 - what’s not to love?”

BEVA Congress is by the profession for the profession and the Congress Committee, which is made up of BEVA members, believes the 2023 programme is going to deliver the best experience ever.

“As we continue to live in unprecedented times, we have chosen to focus on the real issues faced by first opinion clinicians in the field today,” said Congress Committee Chair Andy Fiske-Jackson.

This year, the important topic of behaviour change is a key theme; in addition to the renowned first-rate clinical content, delivered by an exciting mix of top-class speakers from around the globe, there will be sessions on how human behaviour change can maximise equine welfare, how to have more effective conversations with clients and build stronger relationships and how to change the way things are done to optimise owner perception of the industry.

Congress will also be addressing the current recruitment and retention challenge, exploring how the profession can attract and support new and recent graduates to secure the future of the profession.

Different learning styles have been incorporated into this year’s programme too, with more interactive discussion, debates and workshop content than ever before. There will also be more critically appraised topics (CAT) where speakers will present the best available evidence on a focused question.

For Veterinary Nurses there is a full day of engaging and highly informative sessions specifically for them, focussing on subjects such as communicating equine behaviour to clients and compassion fatigue.

Early bird tickets for BEVA Congress are available from 01 February 2023. Tickets provide access to all lecture exhibition halls as well as full access to the virtual congress hub. Delegates will have access to all Congress content for six months after the event via the hub.

Individual super early bird BEVA members prices are £499 for vets and £137 for vet nurses for all three days (with concessionary available for those in their first three years of graduation or earning less than £25,000). Day tickets are also available. Super early bird ends Wednesday 31st May 2023. Practices can save on their Congress tickets with our practice passes. Option one is £1,475 providing two vet tickets, one nurse ticket and three on-demand tickets. Option two is £2,950 and provides four vet tickets, two nurse tickets and six on-demand tickets.

Full details of the BEVA Congress programme will be announced shortly. To find out more and to book your tickets visit http://www.bevacongress.org/
