Elanco Updates Its Pet Owner Website - Stopfleasfast

Elanco Companion Animal Health, manufacturer of Comfortis® and Trifexis®, has updated its popular pet owner website – www.stopfleasfast.co.uk. The updated educational resource will provide pet owners with extensive advice on fleas and canine worms. It features the company’s new treatment reminder App, an interactive tool to find the right treatment for an individual pet and information on fleas including the lifecycle of a flea, myths and facts about fleas and worms and how to control fleas. In addition, the site has information on canine parasites including roundworm (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonine), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis), heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis), lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum) and the most common species of canine tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum). It includes details on the lifecycle of the parasites, how they develop, symptoms and sources of infection, whether the parasites are a risk to pets and humans and eye-catching illustrations demonstrate their lifecycle and what each of the parasites looks like.
