Entries Open For 2026 Veterinary Receptionist Team Hero Awards
KRKA UK is inviting entries for its 2026 Veterinary Receptionist Team Hero Awards, celebrating the vital role veterinary receptionists play in practices across the UK. Now in their third year, the awards recognise the dedication, professionalism and compassion of both individual receptionists and reception teams. Winners will receive trophies and Amazon vouchers, with runners-up also set to be recognised. Nominations are now open and entries can be submitted here: https://bit.ly/KRKA-Receptionist-Awards-2026.
Since launching in 2024, the awards have gone from strength to strength, with nominations increasing year-on-year as practices embrace the opportunity to recognise the invaluable contribution of their reception teams. Previous winners have included Folly Vets in Pontypool, Galedin Vets, Heidi Bodily from Mounts Bay Vets in Penzance, and Liberty Honeywell of Poplar Vets, London, alongside a host of highly commended teams and individuals from practices across the UK.
Veterinary receptionists are often the face of the practice being the first and last point of contact for clients, providing reassurance during difficult moments, managing busy appointment schedules, supporting clinical teams and helping practices run efficiently every day. Despite the importance of their role, their contribution can often go unrecognised.
“Over the past two years, we've been overwhelmed by both the quality and quantity of nominations received,” says Linda Buckle, Brand Manager at KRKA UK. “The stories shared by practices highlight just how important reception teams are to the veterinary profession. Today's reception teams are balancing client care, administrative responsibilities and the emotional demands that come with supporting pet owners through some of their most challenging moments. These awards are our way of recognising and celebrating the incredible difference they make every day.”
Nominations are now open and will close on Friday 4th September 2026.
Winners and runners-up will be announced on Thursday 1st October 2026 as part of the recognition for UK Veterinary Receptionist Day on the 4th October.
