Free Round Table Event Discusses ‘Managing Difficult Chronic Enteropathy Cases’

A free online round table event on ‘Managing difficult chronic enteropathy cases’ on 30 March at 19:00 CEST (12:00 CDT / 18:00 GMT) will provide clinically relevant learning on microbiome science for vets in practice. The Purina Institute Microbiome Forum Round Table 2023 focuses on managing difficult chronic enteropathy cases and invites globally renowned speakers to help translate the latest research in microbiome science into actionable interventions in clinical practice. The 90-minute event will be chaired by Jan Suchodolski MedVet, DrVetMed, PhD, AGAF, DACVM, and will feature expert speakers: Julia Fritz EBVS European Specialist in Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (DECVCN); Fabio Procoli DVM, MVetMed, DipACVIM, DipECVIM-CA (Internal Medicine), MRCVS; Linda Toresson DVM, Swedish Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine, PhD; and Jenessa A. Winston DVM, PhD, DACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine). The speakers will share their expertise about evidence-based microbiome science in a non-product-promotional setting.
Participants can expect to gain a greater understanding of the logical sequence of diagnostics and the management and treatment for chronic enteropathy in dogs and cats. The event will also focus on separating fact from fiction regarding the role of nutrition – including dietary profile, fibre, prebiotics, probiotics and synbiotics – in the management of chronic enteropathy in dogs and cats.
