Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging has been awarded the coveted VETTY® Spotlight Award 2023 in recognition of their recent marketing campaign for their Vision CT standing equine leg scanner. The award, given to recognise a single outstanding entry, will be presented at the North American Veterinary Community’s (NAVC) annual Veterinary Meeting and Expo (VMX) in Orlando, USA on 15th January 2024.

Since its introduction to the market Vision CT has been rapidly adopted by equine practices across the USA and UK. To raise awareness of their innovative standing CT scanner, Hallmarq worked with London-based Communications Agency, BrandTall, to coordinate a 12-week omni-channel marketing campaign in the run-up to the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) Congress 2023. The campaign has now been recognised for marketing excellence in the animal health care industry.

The NAVC, the world’s leading not-for-profit dedicated to supporting the global veterinary health community, introduced the VETTY Awards® competition in 2017 to recognise and reward successful marketing within the industry. It has quickly grown to be a prestigious awards program, attracting entries from around the world and recognising the best in marketing animal health care products, programmes and services.

The Spotlight Award is given to recognise a single outstanding entry. Jennifer Weir, Head of Marketing at Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging, commented “To end 2023 with this award is the culmination of the hard work that the whole team has delivered, not only during the year but since Vision CT’s initial concept.

“Whilst our focus is on making safe, effective, and affordable advanced imaging accessible to every veterinary practice, to be recognised for the campaign that brings this technology to the industry is the icing on the cake.”

Gene O’Neill, NAVC CEO, added “We are proud of the amazing work that those in marketing and advertising are accomplishing in the animal health care industry. This year’s entries proved beyond excellent, showcasing many of the advancements in animal medicine, a deeper understanding of the animal health audience, developments in technology and memorable creative campaigns. The VETTY Awards® entrants play an important role in helping animals everywhere live longer, better quality lives.”

The VETTY Awards® are not the only recognition Hallmarq has received for its Vision CT campaign. Working alongside both BrandTall and Stand Creative, Hallmarq also won the Best Free Stand Design Award at BEVA Congress 2023, in recognition of its outstanding design, build and execution.

The campaign’s eye-catching design was tailored to create a coordinated range of materials for distribution across a variety of platforms, from Hallmarq’s BEVA stand banner and sales brochure to social media, emails and online advertising.

The campaign has fuelled the growing popularity of Hallmarq’s patented standing leg CT scanner, with the company expanding into new manufacturing spaces in both the UK and USA in the past year, in order to meet rising demand. As Hallmarq continues to raise awareness of the Vision CT scanner’s benefits, including enhanced patient safety and more effective, affordable diagnosis of everyday lameness, practices across the USA and UK are taking the opportunity to offer this innovative new service.

Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging will receive their VETTY Award® at the VMX Expo in Orlando, USA on 15th January 2024, and will be available throughout the Expo from 13th to 17th January at booth #1087. To find out more visit https://hallmarq.net/.
