Head Nurse Congress 2022 Opens For Bookings!
The College of Animal Welfare’s annual Head Nurse Congress is returning to screens on Thursday 5 May 2022, and tickets are on sale now!
Head Nurse Congress is aimed specifically at head veterinary nurses and practice managers, exploring the responsibilities and challenges behind the roles. During the online event, delegates will be able to listen to a range of talks from expert speakers and gain 8 hours of CPD – all from the comfort of their own home.
Head Nurse Congress 2022 is sponsored by the Veterinary Management Group (VMG) and programme highlights include:
- Anne-Marie Svendsen Aylott MRCVS from PurpleCat Coaching Ltd starting congress with a talk all about emotional intelligence skills
- Gemma Barmby BVetMed MRCVS from Vet Dynamics discussing how to juggle your managerial and clinical workloads
- Jessica May MRCVS and Silvia Janska MRCVS from Flexee answering the questions everyone is asking about flexible working
- Claire Hodgson BVetMed CertAVP MRCVS from British Veterinary Chronic Illness Support (BVCIS) delivering a presentation about how to support the return to work journey
- Chris White BSc (Hons), MBA, Assoc CIPD from the Veterinary Management Group, speaking about how to embrace change
- Dr Libby Kemkaran-Thompson MA VetMB MRCVS from Kemkaran Consulting Ltd discussing confidence for leadership, looking at how to trust and inspire
Claire Gregory, Short Course and Events Administrator at The College of Animal Welfare, said: “We’re delighted to have secured a range of fantastic speakers for this year’s congress, who will be delivering a variety of insightful lectures to help head nurses get the very best out of their nursing teams.” She added: “We are looking forward to, what is set to be, another exciting opportunity for those involved in veterinary practice management to come together to gain valuable CPD.”
