James Martin Launches Limited-edition Meal For Dogs
“I BELIEVE DOGS DESERVE BETTER”
James Martin and pooch Cooper join forces with Bella+Duke to launch limited edition meal, championing fresh ingredients, vibrant flavours and making every meal one to be enjoyed.
Leading fresh pet food brand, Bella+Duke has announced the launch of a limited-edition guinea fowl meal, created in collaboration with renowned chef James Martin. The exclusive recipe celebrates the simple joy that great food brings to our pets’ lives, using fresh, tasty ingredients to create a meal that brings restaurant level thinking to dog mealtimes.
The limited-edition meal will be gifted exclusively to Bella+Duke subscription customers for a limited time, before rolling out to selected pet stores over the following months.
The meal was created by James in collaboration with Bella+Duke’s experts, and the packaging features James Martin alongside his beloved cocker spaniel, Cooper, highlighting the personal passion behind the collaboration. A lifelong dog owner, James has long advocated for giving our dogs the best we can - believing that our best friends deserve to enjoy their food every bit as much as we do.
Speaking about the collaboration, James said: “As humans, we think carefully about the provenance of our own food - where it comes from, how it’s produced, and how fresh it is. I believe we should be doing exactly the same for our dogs, I believe dogs deserve better. They're part of the family so they deserve not only food that is good for them but food they enjoy too. To me that means meals packed with fresh, nutritious ingredients that are minimally processed and delicious, helping them to truly live their best life. That’s exactly what this recipe with Bella+Duke is all about.”
The guinea fowl limited edition meal is crafted using carefully selected ingredients, including guinea fowl along with blueberries, seasonal vegetables and herbs, gently mixed to retain natural goodness, flavour and nutritional value. It reflects Bella+Duke’s commitment and belief that dogs thrive on a diet of real food, with meals packed with – at least 80% meat, fresh vegetables and created with no unnecessary processing.
James continues: "We know not to eat ultra-processed foods all the time - and let’s be honest, none of us would accept eating the same meal every single day, so why should they? Food should be something to look forward to. I want Cooper to have variety, excitement and genuine enjoyment in what he's eating, just as I do with my own meals. Feeding a fresher diet packed with real, whole ingredients gives dogs that pleasure, while also supporting their long-term health in a way ultra-processed food simply can’t.”
Tony Ottley, COO at Bella+Duke, commented:
“This collaboration with James is a natural fit. We share the same belief that provenance matters and that fresh ingredients packed with natural flavours and variety can make a real difference to dogs’ health and happiness. Working with James to create this recipe has been a real joy - this is about seeing our dogs’ mealtimes as more than a tick-box task, and instead as a true highlight of their day."
The limited‑edition guinea fowl meal gives dog owners an easy way to elevate their pet’s bowl with a chef‑inspired, fresh alternative to ultra‑processed pet foods — all without compromising on convenience.
