New Appointment For Axiom Veterinary Laboratories
American Pathologist Jim KIaassen DVM, PhD, DACVP, MRCVS has joined Axiom Veterinary Laboratories as Staff Clinical Pathologist.
During his extensive career, Dr Klaassen has worked in small animal practice, lectured in clinical pathology, undertaken pre-clinical research and held a number of senior roles in commercial veterinary laboratories in the US, including as Chief Medical Officer for Antech, the leading provider of pet diagnostic services in America. His appointment at Axiom strengthens its pathology team and supports its development of new services.
Commenting on his appointment, Dan Sherry, General Manager of Axiom, said: "Jim brings a wealth of experience to this important role and his extensive and varied knowledge of clinical pathology and different lab techniques is already proving helpful to colleagues and clients alike.
