12th October, 2023 09h52
The Moores Orthopaedic Clinic, a new orthopaedic only referral centre is hosting an open evening for veterinary professionals on Thursday November 2nd. The new clinic, which opened in May and is celebrating six months of successful business, houses state of the art equipment in a purpose-built practice. Visitors will be given a behind the scenes look and have the opportunity for informal discussions with Specialist surgeons Andy Moores and Chris Jordan.
Surgeon, Andy Moores, says “We have had a fantastic first six months, and to say thank you to those who have referred cases to us, and to show off our facilities to those who haven’t seen the clinic, we are thrilled to be holding an open evening. I’m looking forward to providing tours of the clinic and having a chance to talk to vets about our services and how we can help.”
The Moores team welcome veterinary teams and their families as well as pet owners to enjoy an open evening at their new clinic on November 2nd between 5 and 8pm.
Key features in the new referral centre include a HEPA- filtered ventilation system in the surgical suite which exceeds guidelines for human orthopaedic theatres and reduces the risk of infection. There is also a CT scanner, mobile digital radiography and two surgical theatres with a full complement of orthopaedic kit including for total hip replacement in cats and all sizes of dogs.
The clinic is easily accessible, situated just off the M3 and 30 minutes from the M25 located in the picturesque village of Upton Grey, near Basingstoke, Hampshire. Since its opening in May the clinic has welcomed cases from over 70 referral practices in the area and looks forward to expanding their reach and reputation in the area.
