New Veterinary Group's Health Plan Is In Fine Fettle With Top Accolade

A veterinary practice that opened its doors in summer in Woodley, near Reading, has won its first accolade after its new health plan, which provides local pets with year-round care, immediately became one of the most popular schemes of its kind in the UK.
Harrison Family Vets opened its new state of the art practice in July 2021 at The Point on Shepherds Hill. The practice is entirely designed around the pets it treats and features an array of services including an on-site laboratory, full x-ray suite, operating theatre and ultrasonography, as well as separate dog and cat wards that have been carefully designed with mood lighting, aromas and music to create a calming atmosphere.
This is all complemented by its innovative Total Wellness Plan, which offers free unlimited vet consultations, an annual comprehensive physical examination with blood and urine tests, all vaccinations, preventative flea and worming treatments and nail clipping, as well as discounts on neutering, dental treatments and food. It’s been hugely popular and hundreds of dog, cat and rabbit owners have signed up to it over the past few months.
As a result, Easy Direct Debits, which provides direct debit services to those using the plan, rewarded Harrison Family Vets’ Total Wellness Plan clients with a churros van, which spent a full afternoon at the practice.
